Geological prospecting and gold panning are recreational outdoor activities that I frequent most of the year which get me into some of the most beautiful parts of the countryside around Scotland. I enjoy walking as well as studying the geology of the Angus Glens which has brought me into contact with many whose livelihoods depend on such beautiful places.
